Home Page - Dashboard

The Dashboard serves as the default home page. To access it, tap on Home in your app or click on DASHBOARD after logging into your account. 

It comprises four tabs: Draft, Posted, Confirmed, and Ongoing jobs, with each tab playing a crucial role.

Draft Jobs

Sometimes, getting interrupted can be challenging, so it's helpful to remember where you were when it happened.

We will take care of this for you both in the app and on the web.

Users will have the option to either re-create their draft request or delete it if the service is no longer needed.

Posted Requests

All your Posted requests, including pending bids, will be displayed in this tab.

Users will have the option to View, Edit, or Cancel the request. 

View

Here, users will find the request details, the list of submitted Bids, including controls for accepting or rejecting bids, as well as access to chat with the bidders.

Edit

Here, one can update the name, description, important note, budget, and due date.

Cancel

Sometimes plans change unexpectedly, but don't worry, you have control. There's always another opportunity in the future.

Confirmed Requests

The requests Confirmed by providers will be displayed in this tab.

Users will have the option to Manage Appointments, and View or Cancel the request.

Appointment - Calendar

This section contains the controls for managing proposed and accepted Appointments, along with the appointment Calendar.

View

In this section, users can find the request details, including options to chat with the provider and cancel the job.

Cancel

Sometimes plans change unexpectedly, but don't worry, you have control. There's always another opportunity in the future.

Ongoing Jobs

Any Ongoing requests will be displayed in this tab. Users will have the option to manage Appointments and View request details.

Appointment - Calendar

In this section, users will find controls for managing both proposed and accepted appointments, as well as accessing the appointment Calendar.

View

In this section, users will find request details, including controls for chatting with the provider.

Get it done

After the provider initiates your requests, this section will be updated with additional controls based on the status. Learn more on the Get it done page.

FAQ & Tips

Do I get notified of the status changes?

Yes, that's correct. From day one, Service Universe will keep you posted on all Request status changes and progress. We'll also be in touch should any changes occur in your account. You'll be notified via email or text messaging.

How to check my Request status.

Pro Tip: Tracking the status of your requests is easy. Simply open your mobile app and tap on Home, or click on DASHBOARD when you log in to serviceuniverse.ca. Additionally, you'll receive important updates via email and text messaging.

How to edit my requests?

When in the Dashboard, navigate to the Posted tab and click on the orange Edit Job icon for the request.

*Amending terms of the request is disabled for Confirmed and Ongoing jobs.

Can I edit a Draft request?

This feature is not currently accessible for draft requests. Nonetheless, it serves as a helpful reminder for new service requests.

How to cancel a request.

Pro Tip: A user can cancel a request at any time before it is started by the provider. Even after commencement, you still have control. If anything seems incorrect, you can halt the request and initiate a new case in our Resolution Portal.
